Engaging 8-week course on how to drive scalable leads and sales through Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ads.
Week 1: Intros & Overview
We’ll take this first week to get to know who’s here and talk about what we can expect to learn here. This is more than just a masterclass on the in’s and out’s of running great facebook campaigns. We are going to talk through the user experience for your advertising journey. What story are you telling your visitors? What is your plan for growth? Each step in successful campaigns is deliberate and goal focused and that’s how we’re going to structure this class.
Also, we’re keeping our signature Theory + Workshop format so each week you’ll get solid info and we will build on that by tackling examples from our attendees in real time, in front of everyone. This is a no-nonsense bootcamp that cuts out the fluff and delivers actionable information each week.
Week 2: Analytics & Tracking
Analytics and charts and data - who even knows what any of this means, right? Wrong. I know what it means. And by the end of this week, you will have a pretty strong sense of what data you should be collecting and looking at on a weekly or monthly basis.
We’ll also go into which pixels you should be installing (or telling your developers to install) on every page you create so that you’re accurately tracking conversions, key transactions, and more. We’ll be discussing Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels, Remarketing for google, facebook, linkedin and more, hotjar session recordings, google optimize, etc.. You’ll leave with an analytics stack that will make you feel like a bonafide data scientist.
Week 3: Strategies
There are a lot of ways to think about campaigns at a strategic level. Are you going for the direct sale? Are you creating funnels and moving users through the different steps? Are you doing brand advertising? Regionally focused or national (or global?)
We discuss the pros and cons of each so you know why you’re choosing the strategy that you’re choosing.
Week 4: Google + YouTube
Driving Scalable Traffic through Google and YouTube Ads.
These days it’s easy to spin up some ad campaigns. Almost anyone can start a paid advertising campaign- that doesn’t mean your campaign will be successful. We’ll break down the basics of PPC, including tracking, targeting, and optimizing. Then in the workshop, we’ll pull up the live campaigns for 2–3 companies and show a real-time analysis of the campaigns and make suggestions on how to improve performance.
Week 5: Facebook + Instagram
Driving Scalable Traffic through Facebook + Instagram Ads.
Facebook makes it simple to boost posts, but often, we’re not sure if the money we spend on these is really driving any value (hint: it’s probably not.) We’ll break down the basics of PPC, including tracking, targeting, and optimizing. Then in the workshop, we’ll pull up the live campaigns for 2–3 companies and show a real-time analysis of the campaigns and make suggestions on how to improve performance.
Week 6: Amazon
Driving Scalable Traffic through Amazon.
As the #3 in the ad space, Amazon definitely deserves some attention if you’re selling a consumer product. We’ll break down the basics of Amazon ads. Then in the workshop, we’ll pull up the live campaigns for 2–3 companies and show a real-time analysis of the campaigns and make suggestions on how to improve performance.
Week 7: Pinterest + Others
While volume isn’t always as strong as the big three, there are other providers out there that you should be testing to see if they can work for you. Pinterest, Hulu, TikTok, Linkedin, Reddit, and others all have self-serve ad platforms that you can start creating ads on right now.
Week 8: Wrap/Conclusion Party
We’re done! By now, you will all be experts in what you know, and you’ll have a better sense about what you don’t know, and you’ll have made some concrete progress over the last 9 weeks so this is your chance to show it off. Show us your before and afters, tell us what you’ve learned along the way and how it’s helped move your business forward.
